| For this reason a team of seven riders from St. Leonards Motors will be competing in the London to Hastings cycle ride. The event is to be held on Sunday 29th August and is in aid of the British Heart Foundation. The riders hope to raise over £1000 for this worthy cause.
The London to Hastings cycle ride starts at Crystal Palace and culminates at Grosvenor Gardens in Hastings. The 61 mile route will take the riders right through Kent, over the beautiful North Downs and through the High Weald before dipping down to finish by the sea. Completing this journey will be a massive achievement for all involved.
St. Leonards Motors have recently implemented the Government’s Cycle to Work scheme. The scheme allows employers to loan cycles and cyclists’ safety equipment to employees as a tax-free benefit. In implementing this scheme St. Leonards Motors are doing their bit to go green and also taking steps to help with the welfare of their staff.
St. Leonards Motors has been an established part of the South East of England for 50 years. Over the years they have gone from strength to strength and the group now consists of showrooms catering for Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Vauxhall and Fiat, as well as commercial vehicles and used cars. However, despite their success the people that make up the St. Leonards Motors team still pride themselves on the community based, family-owned business values that the group started out with.
